Researchers of Mongolia and Inner Mongolia held a press conference about their joint research on camels and camel milk products on Wednesday. Many kinds of camel products including packaged and dry milk, beauty products, and diabetes and immune-modulator drugs are sold in China. These products are produced based on joint research on camel milk, meat, wool and genetics, conducted since 2005.
Camel milk contains beneficial bacteria, called immunoglobulin which is significant for reducing blood sugar.
Their joint research has been published in international journals such as Nature Communications, Nature Genetics, Genome Biology and Evolution and PloS One.
